There is a big demand for it. I believe it will be filled. Nice warning to those that do spam.

This is very interesting, considering that he's making a full time income just by suing spammers. It's ironic how this man is only a drop in the ocean when it comes to people receiving too much spam email, but at the same time he's one of the only ones actually taking the spammers to court or receiving a settlement. I think that many average people just don't realize that spamming is actually illegal; they just find it annoying and deal with it by deleting or reporting it. The thought of going to court would never occur to someone who thinks that spam is just a necessary evil that goes along with having an email address. I wonder if this article will be a spark that will inspire other people to really fight back against having their inboxes overloaded with spammy emails. However, the fact that he's filing lawsuits against out-of-state companies to get a settlement makes me wonder if his dedication is actually to "support the cause," or is more bent towards increasing his earnings, as his critics suggest. It'll be interesting to see how the spam revolution continues to unfold.

Anti spam scanners today are created, LITERALLY, like antivirus programs. EVEN with that, it is, even in theory, IMPOSSIBLE to block it all, They LIE, mistype, add garbage, etc.. They fake the to address, and make use hacked systems to send them out from others systems. So FORGET really filtering, etc... I have done that and it was NOT 100%. Gmail has the SAME problem. And just TRY to delete HUNDREDS of emails a day.

As much as I HATE lawyers, and this guy MIGHT just be scamming the system, like almost all do, I LOVE what that guy is doing.

As for filing out of state claims, if the spam reaches there then the law pretty much DEMANDS that it be in that state. If a person in main spams a person in california, they violate federal AND california law and can be and should be tried in california. They don't like it? BOO HOO, that was THEIR fault and they can tell it to the judge. And YES, it is a COMMON ploy by lawyers.
