About New Year's Resolutions

OFF TOPIC

A new year's resolution requires careful thought and planning. It should meet certain criteria:
1. Be achievable.
2. Truly be in your interests.
3. Be definable.

With that in mind:
I pledge not to say anything derogatory about my neighbors' water buffalo or fig orchards.

Hey, CDarklock, I noticed something about the water buffalo you use to transport your moonshine. They don't walk in a straight..., er, never mind (I will not say anything derogatory about my neighbors' water buffalo, I will not say anything derogatory about my neighbors' water buffalo).

I resolve to never say anything derogatory about any buffoon who pledges not to say anything derogatory about their neighbors' water buffalo or fig orchards.

I resolve never to say anything at all, derogatory or otherwise, about water buffalo or fig orchards, period! Though I might occasionally regress and make comments about buffons, suzerain picaroons or water chestnuts.

Diana Dear, Fig orchard owners don't plant Bubalus bubalis between rows, they plant shaggy-haired brown bisons. Sheesh! Everyone knows that!
