NBA Refs are the worse. This player travels 6 times in one possession.

After watching the refs give a game to the Miami heat last night over my team, the Golden State Warriors, I have to admit that the NBA officiating is at it's worse that I can remember in 40 plus years of watching. Here's an example of how bad it has become. This is from 2009 and shows former Warrior Corey Maggette travel at least 6 times in one possession and not being called for one of them. ( For those not familiar with the rules, if you are not dribbling you have to establish one pivot foot that can't move after it is established. The other foot can move. You are not allowed to change the pivot foot however! )

    I quit watching the NBA years ago because the officiating is so awful. I remember reading an interview with a ref once in which he stated it was up to them (the refs) to make the stars.
