Hilarious Thing Happened to Me Yesterday ---- Work Meets Personal Life
This is a true story...
I was calling a sushi restaurant to order dinner yesterday. I was ordering for a few people so I had a little list of things I would order. I abbreviated and the list looked something like...
2 Sal (2 orders salmon)
4 YT (4 orders Yellowtail)
1 Sushi Dinner
etc...
I call the restaurant up and go down the list but instead of saying 4 orders of Yellowtail sushi I saw the YT and automatically said 4 order of Youtube. The guy cut me off and said, what? I repeated again, 4 orders Youtube. He again didnt understand me. I was a bit frustrated after a long day at work and hung up.
When I turned around a few of my friends were laughing and that's when I realized I was saying Youtube instead of Yellowtail.
Of course then I started bursting out laughing and called back to apologize and re-order the right way
Guess I spend to much time working where in the IM world YT is assumed to mean YouTube. Funny either way!
