I used to do this to my little brother when we were children. I'd grab his wrist and hit him with his own hand. Then I'd say to him, "WHY ARE YOU HITTING YOURSELF?" LOL. Did anyone else do this?

    mojojuju,

I don't know WHICH is sadder:

    1. That you did it.
    2. That you brag about it and fondly remember it.
    3. or That you encourage it.

    Mike,

I thought this involved cutting the corpus callosum. It isn't THAT unusual. I mean she went from a whole person to effectively TWINS in the same body. Siamese twins can have the SAME problem. But siamese twins can usually easily communicate. With HER twins, one can read/write, and the other can speak, as I recall.

I liike her left side(which I guess is the right hemisphere)'s opinion on smoking! HEY, I try to use both my hands to do disparate things sometimes at the same time. If I am not thinking, one may put something away in a place almost unconciously, and I end up having to search for it. So I can relate. And that is with a full corpus callosum. At least my hands don't attack me, and usually work together well.

During highschool I had many encounters with uncontrollable hand syndrome while on dates.
There was only one temporary but very excruciatingly painful treatment for it back then.
