The Green Bay Packers Of The NFL defeated the Kansas City Chiefs of the AFL in the first Super Bowl back in January of 1967.
The final score was 35-10 after Green Bay lead by only 14-10 at the half.
The game was at the Los Angles Coliseum and the attendance was only 61,000.
The MVP was QB Bart Star of the Packers.
There was a lot of pressure on the Packers and their Hall Of Fame coach Vince Lombardi to win this game and not allow the much older NFL to be embarrassed by the 7 year-old AFL.
