No matter how douchy they looked in the movie, I have to side with the Winklevosses - sorry, Winklevi... on this one.

Without the exclusivity factor, Facebook would be just another MySpace with a cooler name... What do you guys think?

Gotta go with Zuckerburg for having the balls and the smarts to seize the opportunity. Whether he stole the idea or not, he was the man who made it come to life so that's why i side with him, the only thing the Winklez had was an idea AND they approached Zuckerburg to create it, and they got 60 mil in the end...it's a win win!

Judgment based on the Jesse Eisenberg-Zuckerberg of course.

I try not to take sides in other people's fights. Us older farts have to save our energy for our own battles.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

I don't see what you mean about how FB would be another myspace if it weren't for the exclusivity factor. If anything, the Winklevoss' website would've been another myspace without Zuckerberg's skills. FB did something that myspace didn't do, which is why FB is top-dog.
Because that's what ultimately separated Facebook from the other social networking sites. There are tons of other coders that could've done the job. The concept is what made "The Facebook" special, not Zuckeberg...

However, I think the Winklez where stupid for trusting Zuckeberg in the first place and I don't blame him for what he did...

Neither. The Winks got a purported $65 million settlement... not bad for coming up with an idea. We'll never known if the Winks would have been able to take "ConnectU" to current Facebook level.

Mark not only used the idea that the Winklevoss brothers suggested to him, but expanded on it substantially and continues to do so to this day. I bet the boys wouldn't have had the skills and ideas that Mark has had.

I'm thinking of maybe siding with Team Dorsey.
