I found out by accident on a construction site when I heard one contractor explaining something emphatically to another.

"As long as the hookers keep putting up their prices, we're going to have to keep putting up ours!"

The things you can learn here. Even the Harvard Economics Department probably isn't aware of this major economic force.

    hmmm....don't know about that but I personally think it is gas prices (at least here in the USA).
