Chimp mother 'mourns' its young

What an interesting observation and at the same time heartbreaking.

    HUMANS used to have a similar type of behaviour, caring for the body, and giving a period where the person could show signs of life, etc... Even today, a person may check for signs of life, etc... So who knows, maybe the mourning is more of a consult and verification then a mere mourning.

    In any event, the mother didn't abandon the body, etc...
