From a Pom to every Australian.
Having seen the devastation caused by those awful floods, the incredible video's and amazing sprit of all the Australian people, not to mention a sense of humour that frankly astounded me, I was shocked to see now you poor lot have a cyclone crashing down on you about 15 times the size of my own island.
Can't think of a nicer bunch of people for this to happen to. I have a sister in Sydney, a number of friends in Brisbane as well as the little tomato town of Childers where I spent four months some years ago now.
I saw Prince Charles was out there recently and he mentioned that if you want to build character, go to Australia. I think that summed it up brilliantly.
I'm not sure what I can do personally but if any Aussies want to pop in here and put a link to the main donation site or come up with any other suggestions, please do.
