  anyway... welcome, i am new here too and trying to learn as much as i can.
  
  i just learned a tip a few days ago.. there is a wordpress plugin called SEOpressor and it makes optimizing easy. google out the sample videos.

Hello Henry,

welcome to the forum, as for learning about back-linking, I personally wouldn't use the SEO sub-forum, I would visit the following forum: Backlinks Forum for the most up to date SEO strategies, as all the SEO gurus from WF moved over there after a some unpleasant words were exchanged here not too long ago, plus you will get much more accurate information over there.

  I suppose you can learn a certain amount (enough to put out a product/service) while still being smart enough to learn more.
  And SEO “techniques” change all the time, so you kind of have to keep learning.

Welcome to the forum, Henry. You'll find a lot of information about SEO here, though I'd also suggest joining the War Room to get access to literally hundreds (if not thousands) of free reports, some of which cover SEO and backlinking.
