Need Ideas For My Business Logo

I've hit a creative wall and am thinking I need some outsiders suggestions for a logo design for my company. The company name is ScizzorHead Productions.

I initially wanted to create a logo with a man wearing a black business suit, red tie and a pair of scissors for a head. I've found that the more I attempt this design the less I like the idea.

That being said, can anyone offer up any cool ideas they may have for my logo?

    Why not a simple pair of scissors with the finger holes as eyes and the blades as the mouth? I know it sounds a bit tacky but you could do it well - maybe the head could be a bird's head rather than a man's? - scissors shape could be very bird-like.

    I have the idea in my head but it's hard to explain! It looks good. In my head. Trust me.

      I trust you haha. I was using the scissor holes as eyes in my design and I was using the lopsided holes so it looked like a big goofy eye and a regular eye. I like the idea of a bird's head, it's off the wall which is exactly what I'm going for. I'm trying to figure out how you would incorporate the bird's head though. Can you elaborate on it a bit?

    What type of company is Scissorhead Productions? Offline?

    Why not just hand it off to one of the awesome logo designers here on WF and let them do what they do best...that's what I do if I get stuck on a logo idea.

      Graphic design and Web design mostly. I would feel a it odd having another artist/illustrator create a logo for my company that does just that. Haha.
