OMG...I Never Realized How Similar These Were

Okay, listen to the old 70s theme from "All My Children" and then listen to
the theme from "12 O'Clock High" the TV show.

Unbelievably similar.

Here's the AMC theme. It's not the whole version, unfortunately, but it's enough to bring it all back to you.

Unfortunately, this is the best I could find for 12 O'clock High, but the first
5 seconds is all you need. The rest is about a WW II plane.

I'm humming the one in my head and the next second I'm humming the
other and saying to myself, "Wait a minute...those are two different themes
but they sound so similar."

12 O' Clock I got right away. But I couldn't for the life of me figure out
what the other one was since it's been so long since they had that theme.

And then it finally hit me and I said..."holy sh*t...they're almost the same
theme."

And then I realized that a lot of themes back in the 60s and 70s were
very similar.

It does gave a more comedic arrangement with the sliding trombones but these two
themes used to confuse the hell out of me. Never could remember which
was which.

And there are others. In fact, you might want to come up with some of
your own.
