How often do you get a haircut?

I have to admit, I haven't cut my hair for about 3 months now.

It's getting long..

I've had long hair, medium long, very short and complete shave before. Tried a lot of different hairstyle.

Strange question... but

How often do you get a haircut?

What's your preferred hairstyle actually, long or short?

Umm.. I get a haircut every 2 weeks. I have to for my job, plus my Sis would kick my a** if I didn't. She's the one that cuts my hair. Oh yeah and I have to pay her too.

I'll go for months without one. I used to have long hair but I cut it and to let it grow back is a pain. That in between stage of not past your jaw but below your eyebrows is brutal.

Last three times I've cut it myself but my hair is of a type that if some parts are a little uneven you can't really tell. Even though I know it's not perfect it's a lot better than what the guy who used to cut it did - I'd tell him to make it close at about a couple of inches above the ears and at that level around my head and fading down and about a half an inch from that point upwards.

So what does he repeatedly do? At the top sides he'll cut it really close and as he gets to the top of my head he'll cut less and less where it'll be like two inches long right on top making my head look like a pyramid.

I call him on it and he goes "Oh no, I cut it right. That's just the shape of your head"

    Baloney.

My hair used to be down around my waist and I'm 5'7" but once on an impulse I took scissors and cut if off really short LOL. IF I felt like it I would post before n after pics but I don't feel like it. So I never get my hair cut but I cut it myself.

I'm glad you noticed too Kay...

Li, tone it down a bit buddy... you don't want to be known as the "serial generic poster"...

Mix it up a bit and try to add some value once in a while...

Here's a good hair story for you (have probably mentioned it before as it's a favorite):

I sent an email to the late legend Gary Halbert (if you don't know who that is, you're missing out) that began with

"Ok, I'm tearing my hair out here...."

The reply from Gary began with

"Well, kay, at least you have hair...."

That is none of your business. You sure have been snooping around and asking a lot of personal questions lately. Who do you really work for?

    I used to get a haircut once every 2 - 3 months.

Now it's reduced to once a month at least, little lesser even. Since in the army we hafta keep short hair.

But after I'm done with my 2 years of compulsary service, back to my good old long hair again!

I also have long hair which you can`t see ...

I usually just have a goatee but as I suffer from
osteo-arthritis pretty bad, I grow a full beard for
winter ... keeps my neck warm and makes a huge
      difference.

I hate full beard ... because it used to get so itchy!!

      CURE: Tea-Tree shampoo

So I`ve let it go this year ... when/if I shave again,
I`ll need to hack most off with scissors then I WILL
go though a full pack of razors or more getting it to
      skin level ...

My beard hair is so tuff I can`t use electric razors at
all ... lol ... it`s also getting a tad warm here in the 40c
heat ... not uncomfortable so it stays for now.

My wife gets her hair and nails done every 3 weeks.
I get mine done every 4-6 months depending on what type of hair cut I feel like at the time.
