A true story (almost), I swear. It is such a good story that it was incorporated in a movie a few years ago. I don't now if I should sue or not.

Names have been changed to protect the guilty.

A rugby player, who we shall call Forrest, was good at his sport but may have been hit in the head once too often, as he was known to be a bit 'confused' at times. One of the problems the team had was in stopping him from running past the dead ball line. "Once you go past the goal posts, touch the ball to the ground and you will score a try" his coach told him.

This worked just fine and Forrest became the leading try scorer last season.

After the end of the rugby season, some friends asked him to come and play touch football with them, as it was a bit like rugby without tackling and thought he would be good at it.

There was one problem, though; his mates forgot there are no goal posts on a touch football field!

Forrest was last seen running into the sunset in November. Alerts have been put out to watch for a very tired footballer looking for goal posts.

Updates on Forrest as they become available. If you see him, please post details.
