Man! I am doing back flips again. My 2nd lauch in 2 months...and I just so excited.

Launches do not work!! sure right! Have a look at my clickbank sales coming in from this morning, and it goes a few more pages deep...LOL

I got to thank all the warriors that have helped me take my business to the next level. It is so hard to type While I am doing backflips across my lounge.

What did I do :-

1) built a list of 3000 in my new niche. I made sure I gave them great info. One email was a few pages long, no plugs just hard core info. The best I could find.

2) Gave them 3 x 30 pages ebooks for free. Used my blog for them to download and whacked up adsense to earn extra while giving away freebies. I spent many weeks doing this and made sure I gave them super quality stuff.

3) Announced my launch for a product around 19.95.

4) Launched 28 hours ago. Now Look at just some of my screenshots. Up to $3,230 already. WOW

Insane. I can say if I didnt build a list and give them great stuff, they would not be buying this. Just imagine if I had 20k or 30k on this list.

I am not going to write a WSO, i just wanted to share this with the warriors and love helping people out there realise, that even in a crappy economy there are still ways to make lots of the green stuff

If a big old dumb idiot like me can do it. So can anyone!!!

      Tom, belive me when I say. I use to laugh at what I thought idiots in here that kept going on about, list building this, listbuiling that! I thought why do they keep going on about that crap! I did not see how listbuilding could work and bring in results.

      Well.....the thing is that whole list building crap makes alot marketers alot of money.... I believe very solidly that you cannot win the the IM game (expecially niche marketing as that is what I do) without some sort of list.

      Many ask me, when is the best time to start building a nice list of prospects in your business.

      Matt thanks, but you are the one that deserves credit. Especially if you do that hard work and see results. Nothing brings in money quicker!

      You work hard, and build a list, dont spam them and treat them like a friend, then you will BE REWARDED beyond your wildest dreams.

      I am not a guru, I am just one of those guys, that gets big thrills from someone buying something I have created with my own two hands. How blessed am I that this is even possible.

        What did I do?

        Used a squeeze page, and tested the copy. One of my squeeze page copy and layout pulled about 3 times amount of subscribers into my list. So Naturally I used that.

        I got traffic from blog commenting, articles that I spread out, a big press release I got for FREE (negotiated a deal with them)

        How long did it take?

        I have been building this list up since JAN 2010 as a side project.

        The launch took only a week, gave a good video, 1 more short ebook, and warmed them up with a few emails. I did the best I could to get them craving for more. THEN....BLAM.....IN THEIR FACE with the offer.

        Would you mind sharing if your niche is IM or non-IM?

        Not asking you to 'give away' your niche - just want to know if your niche is IM or not. I am currently in the IM niche, but long term plans have me moving out of this niche. And that would be new territory for me, and new stuff can be intimidating... at first.

          this is in the non IM niche and in the financial world.

          Some of the warriors in here know I use to be a full time trader on the stockmarker floor. But at the age of 29 I burnt out, got stressed and almost had a nervous break down LOL ...its funny now, but at the time not good.

          Anyway, I kind of missed the old days, and have lots of information floating around in my head. So rang up an old college and he said, this would work well. And looks like it has.

          But this I would say belongs to the Non IM niche. I only have 2-3 product in the IM niche. Most of my 10 or so niche products are out of the IM niche. But I have gotten enjoyment out of creating all of them but.

          Hope this clears things up.

              I wrote all these three ebooks, articles, email copy myself. Did the video myself too. Eveything yes! When I first started i was very bad at all these three things. But with time, I am pretty good now I guess I can say safely. I am much better at copy and copywriting too. It can take some time to master, and the better you are at copy and selling the more sales you will make in the long run

              Sometimes I outsource my products, but with this yes, I had to create the product myself. I did not get help from one single person. I just rang up my old college to share ideas, but after that phonecall i got to work and took action! I guess it is safe to say that ACTION breeds RESULTS

      As I went to bed last night I was kind of thinking this too.

      But I guess this was only a test for starters. And with my clickbank account is set up and its so easy to use.

      But yes 9-10% fees is really like a punch in the kidneys

    I remember pulling in 12 hour workdays and hardly making 1k a month when I wasn't building a list.

    Fast forward to today, I have a list of about 17k people and that translates into a five figure monthly business and I don't nearly work half as much.

      Yup you really hear it in here alot...and people are not making it up.

      Neither am I...

      Having a list , big , small it doesnt matter just create a list and treat them like gold.

      I guarantee, you need to do this today. Put down everything and start building some sort of list. You will find out just how good they are very very quickly!

      Just think about why you have bought something, you will probably 75% of the time work out you bought it, from being on someone's list or some sort of a list.

    Thanks guys, This is truely amazing.

    I treasure everyone taking time out of their day to read this post. I just hope that those out there struggling can pick up just that small piece of info that can set them lose and give them the freedome they have always wanted.

    I struggled for many years too! I do not class myself as a guru, but I know now what makes money. SO I just take hours out of each day and do those things.

    I have become alot better at writing copy and emails. But I have OCD, in testing everything. I test things alot, some things fail and makes you want to pull your hair out, but then I test stuff and you go...."Holy mother of mary!!!" LOL sometimes I feel this whole IM game is about testing and tweaking, and then up scaling some more.

    So many people make this game alot harder than what it has to be. Isnt it funny the simpler you keep things, the more hits and success comes.

    There is no holy grail to all this, just work out what works for you, and keep doing that.

    I have a whole A4 book. I label it, "My KA Black Book" (KA stands for KICK ASS) lol but everytime an email brings in massive sales I write it down. Everytime, something I do for traffic brings in a ton of subscribers I write it down. I keep a record of things that I know are guarenteed to bring in sales or more subscribers. Then If i feel that things are slowing up a bit, it just go back to that list that I know already works....pretty cool right.

      A few months as I stated above. Just used simply traffic techniques to a very high converting squeeze page.

      oh, and Yes.....squeeze pages are not dead....LOL... I can assure you.

      Just made sure the offer was so good, I kept constantly thinking how can I get more people to subscribe without clicking off my squeeze page and not subscribing at all. Think like your prospect, what is it, that he are she is after. What questions, hidden desires, help do they need. Become your prospect and think like them the whole time. This might help with your copy too.

      When I started to become the client, really put myself in their situation I could see some massive improvements. Become empathetic, and understand who they are, exactly what they want, and what sort of people and personalities they have. This is not only FUN, but you will learn how to become a better marketer and make more money in the process.

        You're welcome, Gerald. It's time to strike while the iron is hot and your subscribers are excited, and you could have a couple of upsells, including a monthly membership program, as well as a higher-priced premium product that expands on your basic one (think videos or maybe a "done for you" type deal, if applicable).

      Did you try a downsell too. If they say no the first time, and click off the site have it go to a 50% off deal instantly for say $47 - $49.

      I do this with my sites and it works like a charm. Somtimes people are more comfortable with paying 50ish dollars, than the $90's... that is what I have found. But it is up to you, and the value you have created first of course.

      hey and if you are selling for $49 it will only take another extra sale to reach your predetermined $97 buckeroos.

      Just a thought. Downsells work great in any niche!!! This might help you some what. If you wanted to test it i guess.
