My great grandfather on my mother's side shamed his family by marrying an gentile actress in Germany. Actresses weren't well-regarded in those times, lol. To avoid complications, they emigrated to England. This marriage likely saved him and his descendants from an ugly fate. I sometimes wonder what happened to my relatives who remained there. Did many of them meet an unspeakable fate? On a happier note, I know lots made it to the States and are doing very well indeed.

He must be funny man who just want to live life happily on his own rules and don't bother about what people think of him. All the best to him.

He left our earthly realm long ago. Our lives never intersected. He was a scientist and led research teams that helped develop defense equipment necessary to winning WWII.
