(Mods, I'm sorry if this is the wrong section.)

As part of "Pay it Forward 2011", I've made a new post on my blog called Pay It Forward 2011 Writers Edition. Basically, all you have to do is make a comment stating the URL of your site/blog, and I will Like/Share/Tweet it as soon as I can.

    I left a comment with a link and liked and tweeted your blog.

    Only problem is I follow Charlie Sheen and he tweeted back and said he invented this idea in his sleep

    Pay it forward is a good notion.

    @Merlyn: I hope you enjoy it, I've worked very hard on it.

    I've decided to keep this thing going indefinitely just to see how viral it can go. It's worth noting that at least 2 other people besides me are also tweeting and sharing sites that people post in the comments section, so this would be a great place to get some extra exposure for your site or blog.

    One other thing. I've received a couple of submissions where the sites were purely promotional. (squeeze pages, one page sales letter sites, etc.) This is not allowed. In order for your site or blog to be accepted, you must give the reader some high quality content to read at no charge to them.

    The point of this event is to reward those who make an effort to contribute high quality content to the internet, not make an easy buck.

    Thanks again for those who have participated so far.

      Right now we're a bit occupied with the tsunami warning going on here....oh! scratch that...they just downgraded it to a tsunami advisory.
