Default Are There Any Left-Handed Warriors Here?

Besides me, of course

No real reason I asked. Just curious. How does it feel being a left-handed marketer in a right-handed marketers world? Do you use your mouse with your left hand or right hand?

Well, not really equal on both hands but I'm somewhat ambidextrous. It sorta doesn't matter either way if I had to use my left versus my right or vice versa although I'm way more used to using my right. So I don't really have your handicap and should probably leave this thread.

No, but several family members are left handed. Is it a genetic thing? Must be. Once I decided to "switch" to be a left hander, possibly out of boredom or an over active imagination. My handwriting is very messy as a leftie So I'll stick to being right handed.

I am ambidextrous, too, but favor my left. I write left, but could do right if I had to. I bowl left - golf right.

I really don't see the big issue with it. Every now and again you run into a tool which requires a righty, but other than that I think the whole issue is a dinosaur of earlier, more superstitious, eras gone by.

Anyone know why most people are rightys while very few are lefties?

I'm left handed.

I learned how to do most things with the right hand first since that's how things were shown, but I still favor my left. Things such as throwing a ball, batting, catch, bowling, hammer, etc. I can do with both hands equally well.

I never tried writing with my right hand though.

I do use a mouse with my right hand cause growing up it was easier to just keep it on the same settings as everyone else in the family.

I think most right handed people could use their left hand if they just tried since it's really just programming your brain's muscle movements to that hand. Using your "other" hand is a learned skill. Read about how the brain and muscles systems work and stop thinking you can only use one hand cause that's such a limiting idea especially when we scientifically know you can train muscle movements. I find it odd that there are people that can't really use one hand for anything outside of carrying something.

My mom is a leftie, so she taught me how to do most things left-handed.

I have 1 leftie child.

I favor my right hand.

lol that's okay. I always wanted to be able to use either hand, but didn't have the patience to train myself to use my right. Although I do use my right for certain things (throwing, using a mouse).

Actually everybody's handwriting is messy as a leftie, so don't feel bad.
Since we write from left to right (in English anyway), lefties tend to smudge ink, because our hand is moving over what we just printed, whereas righties don't have that problem.

They're not sure. About 7-10% of people are lefties. They think it may be a combination of genes and environmental factors from in the womb.

Yeah anyone can learn to use either hand if they need to, and given enough time. My grandmom was born left handed, but she went to a Catholic school back in the 30's where that was frowned upon, so they made her learn to write with her right, so she's a righty now.
