What a gorgeous day it is outside and supposed to be the warmest day of the year so far for the south. Good times.

Hope its nice where you are.

Not where I am, it's murky and overclouded. Not exactly sun bathing time.

I'm going to buy a really big petrol drinking car. If global warming is going to give us a bit of heat then I'm all for it TBH. Apparently Blackpool will vanish into the sea as well, so that's even more incentive

Not so great here, at the moment. It's about 7 degrees celsius with some pretty thick mist.

Sucks really, because yesterday was a fine day and was able to sit outside in the back garden to do some work. Was hoping to do the same today, but it's just too wet and cold, so far.

Not so good DireStraits. When I woke up this morning, temperature was already 8 degrees and has now risen to 14. Obviously your weather from yesterday has just moved south.

Tim A, your view sounds awesome. Jealous!

Adam1981, don't think your one car will cause enough global warming to give us tropical weather. Might I suggest getting a whole host of others on board, maybe a facebook campaign? Do a video showing how much better the UK would be with a bit of global warming. Everyone in shorts and t-shirts, women in bikinis, beer gardens, packed beaches etc...

Not a bad idea actually. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to turn on every light in the house, open the doors and windows and put the heating on full blast.

I can't remember the comedian who had one of these 'eco energy assessor people' round his house but one of the funniest things in the show was them walking through the kitchen and the fridge door was wide open.

The eco person was just staring at it and said something like 'Do you know left your fridge door is open?'

The comedian guy said he 'Hadn't left it open, it was supposed to be open. He is helping cool down the planet.'

Should of seen eco mans face.

        Dan

PS: Oh yes, it is nice here too.

London's not too bad at the moment, but my office is freezing! I just wish they'd fix the aircon...

It's rained here all day, but it's been relatively mild, not blowing a gale or snowing, so can't complain.

Glorious devon was looking fine and dandy today. The flowers are all coming out in the garden. It's lovely. I do so love the sprintg time months. It's my favourite time of year.

Tomorrow, if the weather is fine my friend is taking me out canoeing on the Tamar. I just hope we don't tip over like last time. When you have no arms it's difficult to get out of the canoe when it tips up but now we have a snornel which i can use attached to a long pirece of hosepipe. If I give it a good blow when upside down to push the water out i should be able to get a good kungful of air or two until my friend manages to get me out and somehow vback in again.

        At least it'll be fun.

Today in Central Scotland we had heavy snow. In fact this morning I decided to stay in the office because the roads were pretty bad for a while.

By lunch time the snow had stopped but the temperature was -0.5 degrees.

    Tonight there's a sharp frost.

    Spring ain't sprung just yet!

    Cheers,

    Neil
