Man what we have seen in Japan is a historical event. A 9.0 quake with huge devastation and Japans biggest recorded seismic event.

I would like to see fleets of choppers dropping food parcels and tents and stuff.

What I see is bitter cold desolate destruction and dead people. This is a major hit to Japans economy. The Christchurch quake was a bitter hit to the small economy of new zealand. Australia just got hit with the worst floods in decades and likewise a major economic hit.

Here Japan is one of our main trading partners.

Things are getting off to a bad start for this year. I shouldn't be negative.

But it looks like our overpopulated world is in for more troubles.

Dropping food parcles, and tents would be dumb and a waste. After all, there are people that need the food, and we shouldn't waste gas and manpower. What do you do for sanitation, protection(AGAINST NUCLEAR, for example), and water. It is better, and easier in the long run, to move the PEOPLE! Isn't that what they are trying to do?

Hey, the place I am working at does business with toyota. Toyota at least was going to shut their plants down for at least 3 days, and reduce production by at least 40,000 cars!
