Wife just lost her job

My wife just let me know that they announced that the small company she works for is closing up shop entirely in 2 weeks.

Man, this economy is tough. This place is a little local computer store that has been around for a long time - since back when were all using the big floppy disks. Personally, we will be able to make it until something else picks up (she does Mary Kay, too, and that is going fairly well), but it is still hard. Maybe she will be my new VA! Haha!

Just wanted to vent a bit to my WF friends. Seems like nothing when you see what is happening to our friends in Japan.

    Mary Kay is going well for her? She's good at sales. That kind of gig is not easy. You two could make a fortune, teaming up and selling internet marketing services to small businesses.

      Yeah, she is actually quite good at it. I was only half joking when talking about making her my assistant. This could turn out to be a major blessing in disguise!

    I think she and I will spend some time there! Actually just now trying to break into the offline market. Got a couple of really good WSO's recently from Holly Cotter and Jayo here on the forum and was getting ready to implement what I learned in the near future. Now maybe she can do that for me. Thanks thunderbird!
