I don't know if this has happened elsewhere, but the strangest thing happened last night and is continuing today.

Water is falling from the sky!

Now some old-timers reckon they have heard of this before, but most of us can't figure out what is happening.

My dog is running around in circles, barking at the drops.

Churches are filling with the fearful.

Schools are keeping children inside.

It is thought that this could be advance warning of an alien invasion.

I will keep posting as long as I can, but

Yeah, they had something about that in this book people read over here - the Bible, they call it. Got a boat?

This happens every year around this time. Old timers remember singing carols in churches, and in schools great anticipation with joy and donning gay apparel. Santa Claus is coming to town.

    Good on you!

I guess the sky sprung a leak there!

I love the rain and it could rain everyday and I would be happy.

I`m with you on that Pat ...

Hey Ron, it was like that here not that long ago
... man I had a rock lawn for 3 fricken years

That wasn`t the problem ... mowing lawns suck bigtime ...

The problem was running out of water for me ... I have
backup so when one tank empties, I had to transfer one
to the other (bit of a pain) Eventually I ran out completely.

So it was town water ... YUCK

It rained the next night ... lol

You KNOW the drought is bad in Australia when the native
trees start dying off ... tens of thousands around here were
lost ... fruit trees also coz there was no irrigation for them.

My landlord`s Dad has been here over 50 years and never
seen it so bad ... he says he saw wedge-tail eagles taking
his calves!! Their natural prey was few and far between.

We haven`t had a decent rain here for 20 years or more
      ... and I mean when it`s torrential rain non-stop for 5 days
like it used to and actually filling big dams up ... need a good
cyclone or two cross the coast, turn into a rain depression
      and stall.

Nearest dam to me is at 2% and has been for a loooong long time.

P.S. Lookin` like rain here to this weekend!!
WOOHOO! getting low on water again!!
