(PLR) What is the ideal quantity?

Fellow warrior,

I'm a new soldier, and the terrain is a bit .... I need your guidance:

Ideally PLR content should be modified to make them relatively unique, right?

As a prospective TOP-- RATE PLR provider, my real question to experienced providers and buyers is: What is the ''ideal'' quantity that one should sell when PLR is offered? 100,200,300...?

Does this greatly affect the success of the offer?

If we're supposed to turn them into ''unique'' content by rewriting/modifying them, what is the point of limiting the offer to certain quantities?

I look forward to your help.

The more copies of PLR you sell, the more diluted the content gets. No matter how much the buyers rewrite their copies, that same content is out there x times.

Now if you limit the number of copies being sold, then you will not only make your content more valuable, but it will also be more exclusive and less wide-spread.

Limited PLR content can more likely be used as-is and though might save some time. I heard that 50 copies is a good number, but it really depends on your preference.

Try to be unique and try to find your perfect target market. Most marketers don't mind buying unlimited PLR content if it's cheap enough, anyways.

The only thing that I read very often is that marketers expect that you limit the number of members in a PLR membership site.

Personally,to me,there is no an "ideal" quantity,i think that depends on how much money you want to earn.
That is not a problem, just FOCUS on create high quality content and provide killer topics that people want to buy!

There is no point. I mean, you can sell as many copies as you want.
It's your choice. If you want to put a limit, 25/50 copies should be fine.

All the best with your PLR business Michael,

In my experience selling PLR, people generally want to know if the PLR is limited. So I usually cap it at 100. I do what the customer wants lol!

I have mine limited to 50 copies. I have often wondered whether to increase to 100 or whether that would devalue them too much. Lisa I'm guessing you still see good results at 100?

This is something I've been thinking about for a while. Then there are PLR sellers like Tiffany Dow who doesn't have a limit but she does very well - but then she has the reputation to go along with it

I do honestly believe that limiting the quantity does increase the value but at what amount to limit is the question!

Lisa, Devid and Sheryl thanks for contributing. I think 100 is still reasonable, but, maybe PLR buyers would tell us about the ''ideal quantity''.

So what kind of success would you see by limiting sales to just 25? I mean technically you could charge more for it because less people would be able to get their hands on it, which means less work having to rewrite for your buyers.

The bigger question is would anyone pay big bucks for extremely limited PLR articles. Why not just sell 10 packages of great PLR articles and raise your price accordingly?

Interesting way to look at it. I suppose it'll be easier for established PLR writers /sellers to pull off.

You mean like 10 @ $50 But, I think most PLR buyers are looking for bargains, maybe they're ready to trade off some level of exclusivity for some savings.

But it a proposal worth testing.

      Thanks,

Even the most established PLR providers would have a hard time charging that much for limited quantities. Why? Because you can get ten 100% original articles written just for you for $50 right here at the WF.

But I think you could seriously increase the price of your PLR if you only offered it to 25 buyers.

I hardly ever buy limited edition packs.

When I buy PLR I am just looking for ideas, angles and facts. I nearly always end up rewriting the content completely so that it fits the perspective I want, the keywords I am using and speaks to the reader in a style that I want it to.

By the time that I am finished with it it looks nothing like the original, so I do not have to worry about how many packs are already out there.
