Default Jap scientists decode and extract images direct from brain

Scientists extract images directly from brain ::: Pink Tentacle

ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories

They did it with fMRI bloodflow so it was not even necessary to neural decode.

Geez John ... ... coulda turned the darn filter off!

"read" our minds? Greeeeaaat ... not ... if it was to be
used ONLY for good (lol .. yer right) then there would be
many benefits ... alas I see many more things this will be
used for and none of them are in the common man`s best
interest

No tin foil hat needed for that view ... just look at history

Well then - we just need to study this image for them to lift out of our heads. Maybe they will get a clue.

If this technology gets into the wrong hands it could be dangerous. My wife would kill me.

I'd say with this kind of technology, war would break out and everyone would be dead.

I attached my Japanese mind-reading machine to your brain while you were looking in the mirror...

Seriously - Reasons why this technology is cool and essential.

1. Neurofeedback training

You can use it to train your imagination / memory to be super clear and sharp.

2. Reverse engineering of brain function

This will enable us to build superior computers and to build neuro interfaces.

3. Psychiatry and Psychotherapy

It would be an incredible tool for people in psychological science.

4. Neural uploading

In not such a long time it will be possible to transfer your mind to a computer. Maybe in 30 - 40 years time.

Yes, that's exactly what I looked like when I looked at myself in the mirror.

I think it's creepy and the ultimate invasion or privacy. And it 40 years we will either be too old to care or dead.

Darn. I made a bet that someone got on your case for saying "Jap" before I checked to find out. Nope. I was happy to see I lost the bet actually - but then again I lost the best. Hmm.
