Should we use our real pic in profile??

Moderator paul myers is saying i am using fake pic in the profile . Is it mandatory that we should use our original pic in profile??? i read TOS but i did not find any such thing . plz help ..

Hi ! As i think it's depend upon us that we want to upload it or not. Whenever i feels that i want to upload my image , than i am uploading my image and when i want to remove it, i removed it. So its depend on my mood.

  You are using a photo of a Canadian school girl that you found online - do you think that is honest? Do you have permission to use that photo? I asked why you were using that photo a few months ago - and you didn't reply.

What's wrong? Are you doing anything shady? Hmm.... I use my real picture and it's amazing that how some people recognize me when I go for some IM-related seminar.

I just went to a Google Adsense Monetization seminar yesterday and I have people coming to ask if I'm Joseph. Kinda nice that people know you.

If you have a nice pics then it is up to you if you will put it. The best is not to put for security reasons.

Maybe a bit of context would be appropriate here. When coolife84 said a PM s/he sent me was going to be his/her last message here, I replied, "Right. Until you create another user account under another name and with another fake picture."

  Using a real pic is the sign of an amateur, unimaginative marketer. If you want to be taken seriously, use an avatar and/or slogan for branding.

I'm always curious whether people's pics that obviously aren't them or their kids are something they like or something to be devious. I don't consider it necessarily deceiptful, but I'm curious what they are hiding. Some people just like to put movies or funny pics or pics of women, but some hide behind other things. Oh well, seem to be ranting so I'll stop. Just actually put up my pic from no pic.

No you do not have to unless you want to build your brand based on YOU. People want to know, like, and trust you. I would recommed it that you put one up. It shows good character unless you want to use a pen name.

You can use any picture you want without facing any problem. If you like, use your real picture and if you don't want, use another one. You are free in doing it.
