Why Sears Sucks Dinosaur Feces:
1. Customer service is shoddy, and managers are sneaky snakes who pass the buck.
2. Sears products are overpriced. Typically the same items found elsewhere cost much less than at Sears. Yet Sears demand lots more for shipping.
4. Sears product service is abysmal, even with extended warranty plans.
4. Sears will recharge your credit card for returning goods that were damaged at the time of home delivery.
5. Sears mistreats its employees.

WAIT A SECOND! Why are YOU getting shoddy customer service?!?!? In the US, we DON'T! We CAN'T! Customer Service is non-existant!

I haven't really noticed about the prices, but now I think I will check it out. Some overpricing is endemic here, though it will get worse in a hurry.

    Product Service? See customer service!

HOW can they mistreat their employees? Even at minimum wage they are probably overpaid.

Then again, in Canada, maybe things are different.

I used to hear people talking about a "five finger discount". What they meant was basically stealing, but it was often talking about SEARS! They would go in, pick out a VCR, or something, pickup the box, and just walk out the store with it. Of course, that is risky now because they usually put a label or tape on the box when you buy it, and often hide a special tag that will make alarms sound once you pass a certain point. ALSO, they sometimes lock the boxes up. But GEE, you would think THAT would encourage them to get more people. They should have at LEAST 1 person per department. And if they have nothing to do, they can man the cashier/help desks. I swear, if you want to go in buy something, and leave, sears is NOT the place to go! Good luck getting ANYONE to answer questions AND, once you have the product, GOOD LUCK getting anyone to accept payment!

Don't mind me though, I have only been in over a dozen sears stores in many states between california and boston. Like I indicated, I can't speak about canada.

HECK, I was once in a store, NOT SEARS, in Denmark where, if you wanted to buy something, you had to do it on the same FLOOR! They had those sensors near the ESCALATOR!
