Is Your Business Fun?

I remember a time when I was so frustrated and couldnt get ANYWHERE with a guitar... but I practiced and practiced for hours, then HUNDREDS of hours... and I spent years living with it from dawn to dusk...

And one day i was a guitar player.

You know what?

Looking back that was ALOT of determination.... but I dont remember that... all I remember is that the challenge was so damn exciting that I couldnt keep my hands off of it for 5 minutes, for years on end... thats the kind of excitement that produces tangible manifestations out of dreams...

My point is this:

Today I look at myself building businesses and its the same way.... from the outside so much tireless work and dedication... but INSIDE the circle its nothin but PASSION, and mad science, and basically fun.... even the frustration.

I love my business.... Is your business fun? Is what you are doing so exciting that you have that emotional intensity that leads to "density" (Manifestation of what is wanted), or do you need to rethink your path and get more passionate?

The kinds of ideas that you cant sleep at night for being so excited about trying, are the things you should head toward because you will get there faster. Before you know it! Passion moves things along at warp speed.

    Sure it is.
I love so much what I do that I even spend most of my spare time doing things related to it.
What today is my full time job, used to be a hobby some years ago.
Most people need to find things to have fun with, I have fun working. isn't it fantastic?

I enjoy business and marketing, areas that I scorned in the past in the ignorance of my teenage years. Used to fancy myself as an artist, lol (bullsh*t artist, maybe).

Drawing and painting. I drifted away from that a long time ago.

Of course its fun because I'd learn lots of new things every single day plus I even get to meet new people and make friends with them. So I really enjoy my business.

I enjoyed reading your post and I agree. We need to love what we do more than "Money" to succeed. Too many just want the "Money" part! I'm sure you wanted to become a great guitar player first and loved hearing yourself play.

    Yep. It sure is.

I spend my day working on fun campaigns, consulting with clients, and looking for "what's next".

Also get to watch the latest flicks (on opening day), play golf, spend time in the gym, and work on my cooking.

The internet is awesome. And it is much easier to make money than most people realize.

    Thanks for asking.

I love the words you use: passion, emotional intensity, etc. Once I aligned myself with the things that I love doing (drawing, music, online business building), I find myself, like you, too excited to sleep. I lie awake thinking about drawing composition or topics for my articles. So the answer is yes. My Business is fun. The alternative is to go back to work and listen to people complain about the "boss man" and rising gas prices.
