Could society be so automated that literally everyone could be a digital nomad and just make money where-ever and when-ever they wanted??? Hmm...

No, because some people are so thick they just want a quick fix and end up spending more money.

I lol'd, been a while since I heard somebody called "thick" before.

I think there is a stigma attached to making money online, and this generally a negative. Most people I tell about my online exploits are pretty skeptical that anybody else can have the same success.

I think everyone can but, as most people have pointed out, there is a lack of drive and determination to bring this possibility into fruition.

Certainly it's easy enough for everyone to, but yeah...alot of people don't have the right mindset. So even though the answer should be yes, it wont happen.

No is not true in that way but it's true if you have enough time and if you really want ti you can do it. Anything can be learned if you are not dumb.

The question should be....can everyone make EXTRA money online. The chances of that AND the world still going round are much better.

I can't argue with that Dave
I was just doing a preventive strike before this thread turned into one of those threads about feeling sorry for people who don't work online
Almost all my income is off line and with the amount of actual work I do (lazy bum that I am) I tend to feel sorry for those who spend hours a day trying to make money online.

            It's been said here already.

But nevertheless here is my input:

People give up. They come into the world of IM'ing and think "Oh my god I'm gunna have 5k everyday by tomorrow if I buy this eBook!!!!"

Well, calm down Joe Bloggs, that isn't how it works.

We all know that HUGE money can be made online. We have people on this forum who have really made it. It's inspiring. But it's how people take their approach to IM'ing.

People are too impatient today. It's too much GIVE IT NOW and not enough, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.

If you ever feel yourself hitting a brick wall then simply do this. And this is amazing, it works for me and many others I know who I have told.

When you next feel that you aren't achieving enough, that you should give up because you just can't make it and that your just getting so god damn FRUSTRATED. Just STOP what you are doing. Now in your mind I want you to step out of your body and sit next to yourself. What do you see?

The first time I did this I saw a desperate, impatient man, GIVING UP.

You see what this technique allows our minds to do is evaluate and re-evaluate the actual scenario.

What would you say to yourself in this situation? Maybe you would say,
"Hey Anthony, just calm down. Take a step back please, your going to burst a brain vessel. This IS going to be a slow process, but why don't we re-evaluate the situation? Why don't we take a step back and see what we are doing wrong? What do you think is missing from this project? Forget what the eBook said you moron what do YOU think this needs? Okay Anthony, and how is that going to happen.. are you going to wait for it to magically appear or are you going to MAKE it happen?"

You can bet your backside I will make it happen. How on earth is your mind going to be full of ideas when all your filling it up with is negativity and discouragement? EVERYONE is capable of making money. EVERYONE is a unique individual. All of us, have another 2 cents to give. It's the extra 2 cents now and then that fill up the cookie jar.

Some of you might already do but, take a savings jar for instant. That jar won't get full if you keep saying to yourself, "Oh my god this is going to take forever to fill that with quarters, I'll just see what I've got and use the Jar for something else. Oh cool, 2 bucks!". If you don't keep putting quarters in that jar, that jar is never going to fill up. If you don't put your effort into your IM career, that career is never going to work.

            Rule 1. Never give up
            Rule 2. Repeat Rule 1.

Hope this has enlightened a few.

There are tons of options nowadays to make money online. But it is up to the individual to choose the mode of making money.

Many people simply aren't interested in being an "entrepreneur/whatever." They'd rather be Doctors, Postmen, and Police men.

Because that's what they're "passionate" about.

Although there's more people working from home, there will always people that work in the environment.

Realistically, 'No.' Who's going to grow my food? Who's going to pick up the garbage? Or fix the plumbing? Or build new and better hardware? Or pick it up and delivery it after it's made?

Tens of millions of people are already telecommuting to "work" and that number will grow dramatically in future, but the nature of the work itself dictates whether that's an option for any given job.

No, I work only online, writing only for Warriors, and it takes a lot of commitment, time management and self-discipline. I do it well but I can see where many people would find this difficult. When I have to write research papers for my college classes I procrastinate and end up producing half-assed papers.

I still get good grades on them but the quality of those papers compared to the quality of the material I write for people on Warrior is drastically different because I see this as a job and I know that my work affects someone other than myself so I feel way more motivated to do well. There are certainly people who might try to do online work but they might not feel that motivation. They may slack off or procrastinate because when you work from home it is a much different environment than if you have to get up, get ready, go through the traffic, deal with annoying co-workers etc... You know, that whole routine. You have more distractions and when you get tired or bored it's much easier to nod off when you're home rather than in an office with a bunch of people watching you. Also the TV may be a distraction and/or children can also make it difficult. (I don't have children but I have a nice HD TV so I can only imagine the distraction of children)

I set my room up as an office so that I feel more like I am, well, in an office.

Also, like others said, it's so easy to spend money, ESPECIALLY when you spend all of your time on the internet.
