Hey worriors,

For my few past posts I've been testing the waters to see if I could come up with a post that would be popular, and I failed every time.

I tried different approaches, but none of them worked. I did have a bunch of sucesfull posts in the pas when I really cared and believed in what I was ssaying

The only theory that I have about it is that people can sense when I am full of crap.

I guess the best policy is to be yourself and to be sincere, because everything else wont work anyway?

What do you guys think?

I think that is an accurate assessment. Have you ever heard the saying?

"It is better to remain silent and appear to be a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

I try to live by that one, although sometimes I do find myself removing all doubt.

Oh by the way, I am trying to get my post count up so I can PM some other members, so I thought I would give my two cents here.

I see so many examples of irony around here...

Funny thing is that I was making great money from hanging out at the warrior forum 10 years ago... but never sported a sig till last year, and based off of what I was learning at the Warrior Forum I NEVER NEEDED ONE!!!

        Isnt that cool?

Anyway, through those years, I have made a fool of myself 100 times, I have been temporarily banned twice for bein stupid... whining then wihining about getting in trouble for whining... I was soooo relieved to move to the new forum and see my old posts left in the immature dust of history!

Keep your nose clean because 800 posts from now everything you ever said will be dug up by someone...

Anyway, as Patrician is joking I believe here, its a long haul... not gonna happen in two days, but doesn't have to take years either...like it did me... I was having fun taking the stuff I was learning at the Warrior Forum to work and sharing the excitement, and coming home and trying stuff...

Looking back as a newby at the WF I guess you could say there was time when it wasnt easy... but I cant say that, because it was all passionate.

Stick around and keep your nose clean... I guess with posts like this I wont have to remind you to visit the off topic forum once in awhile....you're gonna get alot of free paid trips here! lol

PS. At the Warrior Forum, you must be an expert to be viewed as authority at anything... however alot of people catch the spirit of sharing the things that excite them, even when they dont know what their talking about, and sometimes that is construed as promoting.

I was sooo ignorant when I came here that I thought it was strictly a place to learn and be social and that there wasnt any money to be made... Never thought about sigs or anything like that... I was in a different IM genre.

YES (here's the point) I was constantly sharing long paragraphs... Im sure looking back it must have appeared selvf promotional, but I had no idea... totally naive.

You will see that here too, it isnt always promotion, sometimes its just excitement.

But yes, if you are gonna pose as an authority at the greatest Marketing Forum on Earth you need to BE one...You can sell good information without being an authority... But dont try to act like something you arent.

PS> Coming in with the expressed intention of getting up the post count to PM people... not the greatest intention.

Come with the intention to "Give", and be a "part of"... and the windows of the warriorforum will be opened up to you and your paypal box will runneth over.!

      Here's an idea...

New members (let's say three months or less) lose 1 point from their post count for every post they make in the basement.

There are still alot of HIGHLY intelligent people in the world too who have just not yet learned internet etiquette...

If we havent forgotten what it means to be a newby... anybody HARMFUl isnt gonna make it past 50 posts with these mods.

The biggest mistakes are usually either

A: Overly enthusiastic and that gets misconstrued, or

B:you are ignorant and try to hard to fit in instead of just admitting your ignorance and learning, or

C:You come in with the intention of raping the greatest marketing forum on earth and USING it...

Those kind Are "bye-bye"... WF , like George Michael, wont have love without devotion.

Now theres the dumbest thing Ive said all year.
