Sheesh - glad it doesn't know my age or weight. LOL.

Pretty handy even lists which apps need upgrades.

  • I came across something similar to this about a year ago, and on the bottom of it it actually said, "It seems you've been living two lives, Mr. Anderson." Since my last name is Anderson, I totally freaked! It took me a few minutes to realize it was just a quote from The Matrix. Duh! Whenever you go there, it would put up a different Matrix quote.

Oh, I forgot most people don't know that. The amount of information a website can get from your browser is astounding. Here's a good site:

      BrowserSpy.dk

Look in the column on the left and it lists all the information it can extract from your browser. Well, most browsers, anyway, depending on your particular configuration.

BE CAREFUL! They DO have viruses to SEE what YOU are doing! My latest netbook has a builtin camera. LUKILY, it has a little light to say it is ON, but I STILL cover the lens! My room is a mess, and I am not always DRESSED when I use my computer! 8-/

If it can't tell the color of my eyes and panties, I'm not real worried.

Yeah, it really sounds a lot worse than it is. The vast majority of it is harmless.

Seems I'm actually 300 miles west of where I am.

LOL - at least forum members aren't learning too much about me, eh?

Cable has presented opportunity for 2 way transmission now since the 90's (maybe earlier). Satellite presents privacy issues as well. They now have vans that have equipment that can see through walls, etc.

Any privacy we have anymore is determined solely on the issue of whether someone with capability is actually interested in what you might be doing.

BTW I am surprised at how much it got WRONG! It said, for example, that I DON'T have PSD support! And what does the following mean?

Flash 10.3.162 10.2.152 Later version Link

I mean that "latest version" is OLDER than the version I have!

As for location? The only location it gave ME was for my ISP! Good luck trying to figure out where I am.
