a Duron 900 Mhz with 256 MB SD-RAM and using WinXP Pro SP2 with 64MB GeForce4 440MX VideoCard,
and a Duron 900 Mhz with 256 MB SD-RAM and using WinME with 128MB Radeon 9250SE VideoCard (the one i use most of the time).

Even though my friends oftenly laugh at me when i said i use (and loves) WinME^^; (how bad can it be anyway)

    I custom build computers.
Usually they are mid range gaming computers for people on a budget since most cannot afford high end ones.

Hey Dorothy, I used to have one of those! Traded it in for a Mac Mini, and since then I've also bought a MacBook.

I have several, none of them particularly special except for one that's up in the attic...It's an IBM PC I purchased in 1980 from IBM for $2200...it was a lot of money in 1980.

It has 64K ram and 2 big 5" floppy drives. OS is DOS 1.0 The extra floppy drive was an upgrade I added. No hard drive, no sound, no mouse. Later I upgraded the ram to 640k...man it was smokin' fast then.

I wrote my first book on it using a word processor called volkswriter. I still have the original floppies. the last time I cranked up about five years ago it still worked just fine.

Jimmy, I've just found my old Wang 386 in the attic (£549 in 1992!) and put it into storage. I've still got Turbo Pascal 6 and AutoSketch 2 on original floppies and complete with manuals and original boxes.

When I move house, I'll pull all of that stuff out of storage in the new year and spark up the old beast just to check that it's working okay...

(Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I still have my trusty old Acorn Electron... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acorn_Electron :rolleyes

Wow, you guys have real computers.

I had to hack my Teddy Ruxpen into an old selectric typewritter for a keyboard and a LiteBrite for my display. Refresh rate sucks on the display - I have arthritis so putting those little light pegs into the holes takes a while......

ok - seriously, first computer was a Tandy T1000.

    1 terabyte hard drive.
1 terabyte external hard drive for Time Machine. (You do make back-ups, right!!)

Why do so many people make comments like this?
The majority of the time if your PC is bug or virus infected, it's due to user error.

Kim, don't mess around with Nintendo, you just don't know the stuff he is capable of!

Nintendo, I am surprised that you are actually a member here, I hope you will contribute much more!
