How do you embed video in post?

    If it's YouTube, simply paste in the URL in the post. You won't see it in preview mode, but it will appear when posted.

      Gene, I've also heard others say this. But I always see the video in preview mode.

      I wonder if it's got anything to do with your edit options. I use the enhanced interface (full WYSIWYG editing) under Miscellaneous Options.

    Under the reply box, Go Advanced.

    These are usually ticked by default, but just in case look underneath the next reply box and make sure these two are ticked:

    Automatically parse links in text
    Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).

    Go to Youtube and find your video. Do NOT copy and paste the share url they give you. Instead, copy the url in the browser's address bar.

    Paste into your post here and Save.
