Anyone have a recommendation on this software?

I don't know if I can deal with the burning arms much longer!!!

Seems like that solution may be best.

I second that. I have been using Dragon Naturally speaking for quite a while and on each update it gets better.

I use Dragon 10. Its not an instant cure. Takes a bit of effort to get it trained. I spent as much time correcting and editing as I would have spent typing when I first started using it. Now I use it for just about everything, even posting here.

When you hear someone telling you what YOU can't do, they are usually talking about what THEY can't do.

    The concept is nice.

However I already hate them because they have the longest fricking TV commercials in history-

    DRAGGIN IS RIGHT

...They are not even a 'paid program' aka infomerical.

It goes on and on and on and on.

I have an aversion to them now.

And you ask me about hamburgers and hot dogs...

"what kind of American are you?"

Jim, I traded all those useless hours for productive ones and am now spending them learning a new craft.

So instead of filling my mind with the garbage most televisions spew (I know there are some good shows, as well) I'm filling my mind with useful knowledge that I can apply to make my life better.

Besides, almost everything I want to watch is already on the internet and I can view it if I so choose. I choose to watch tutorials on my chosen interests...

You know that I know that you know..I was kidding

But like the old Get Smart gag..."I was waiting for a good reason...not a great one."

I don't blame you one bit...there are times I look at what's popular on TV now, enough to make a billy goat throw up.

If I didn't have a constant flow of kids thru here...mine would hardly be on.

It's a relatively cheap babysitter and you can bet I am careful of what they watch...We had a debate the other day about Looney Tunes and the new stuff...They now request the Looney Tunes.

What's on now and what was on when I was a kid are vastly different...I have literally run for the remote to change a channel.

Their supposed to be learning some of this 'stuff' the normal way...from 'Tommy Longneck' down on the corner.

Dragon is what I went out and got! Haven't hooked it up yet as pony escaped, then horse escaped then kid wanted to go for a quad ride

It almost makes it impossible to work from home!!!!!!

I wouldn't trade it for anything though!

Thank you all for the advice, I took it, and I hope I can train it!

Geez, Pat - don't you know the trick? Commercials are the time allowed to go do something else before your favorite show comes back on
