    BTW - IF you look at train conductor's toes, you will find they still have all 10. Trust me on that one.

      That's because railways only hire conductors who have eleven toes. Before they can perform their duties they're required to cut the extra one off, so as not to freak out passengers and those who venture into the wilderness searching for gems.

        To back up my discovery of the true facts and dispel any silly myths that may have have passed for "facts" in the past.

        And from my vast years of study on this very subject...most conductors do indeed start with eleven toes.

        I met a train conductor once. I think when he got that job he opted to have one of his digits removed.

        I don't think it was one of his toes, however...

        Okay, Hahaha. My grandfather was a conductor and I can attest to the fact he NEVER had more than ten toes. He also never had less then ten.

        There was that peculiar..........oh...never mind. It was a family thing - nothing to do with the job.

    On futurama, they revealed that a pound of dark matter weighs about 10,000 pounds, IIRC. I STILL can't figure how the litter box that they had on that ship, or that part of the ship itself, could support all that weight in such a small spot! 8-(

    Hinged smart slab? a cotton tip with more atoms than the human body? COME ON! OH, and the bulk of a zipper today is PLASTIC! It may have been more believable 40 years ago when most was metal. I have to say, some people have TOO MUCH time on their hands!

      I personally got to "Every sixteen minutes, someone named Richard dies." before I realized it was comedy...after that, it just had me rolling.

      The second set of facts is a selected group that is supposed to be true.

      I am a trivia hound and I just thought this would lighten up someones day.

      I hate to laugh alone...scares the dog somethin fierce.
