| Drunken Greek War Room Member  |  A Christmas message From Greece....  Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the forum, Not a marketer was stirring, not even a qorum. The stickies were posted, Special Offers approved, No threads were bumping, no topics were moved. The Mods were a bit restless, tucked into their beds, While visions of spammers danced in their heads. Allen in his PJ’s was staying up pretty late, Reading an ebook over a cup of Yerba Mate. When out in the main forum there arose such a clatter, I sprang to my browser to see what was the matter. Clicking my favorites, I logged in like a flash, Clicked Active Topics, and looked for the bash. The moon on the header of the new forum design, Made browsing the posts, ever so fine. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, A spammer? A troll? It just wasn’t clear. With a little old poster, so lively and fine, I thought at first, it must be Wagenheim. More rapid than bots his postings they came, And he whistled for Mods, and called them by name! Now Michael! now, Bryan! now, John and Lgibbon! On, Kenneth! On, Paul! on Dbarnum and Santosm! To the top of the forum! Don’t let this post fall! Now bump away! Bump away! Bump away all!" As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, A WSO he was writing in the wink of an eye. After posting he paid, his 20 bucks too, For a WSO full of deals, just for me and for you. And then, in a twinkling, the post count it did rise, As members were scrambling, for all the good buys. As I drew back my hand, from clicking the link, I was blown away, that’s what I did think. His copy was awesome, appealing and bright, I knew he was list building, tonight of all nights. A bundle of forms he had on his page, Double opt ins and more, this merry old sage. His graphics were clean, his headlines were bold, He even had Adsense, just above the page fold. It was truly a great page, no way that it stank, All of the products, were straight from ClickBank. My inbox was flooded, my PayPal had run dry, I bought all of his products, with a tear in my eye. No to worry at all, to my wife I had said, His guarantee is golden, we’ve nothing to dread. He posted once more before giving a shout, The offer is closed, yo Mods snuff it out. But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, Take action right now, and you’ll be all right!  Merry Christmas Everyone Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season |

Very clever and the sentiment is reciprocal....was in Greece once and a storekeeper asked me, a stranger to drive him home for lunch....promised a beach and lunch...after much heavy traffic, arrived at a modest house far away from the water. His brought cookies for HIM , he at them and then I drove him back to the heart of Athens...never did understand it. Merry Christmas |
