My Christmas was very nice. It was my first Christmas away from home for real (I moved 1500 miles away). It was good and relaxing and it was nice to spend some time away from the computer and with my girlfriend.

Hope the holiday treated you well.

The Christmas was pretty good, except this year there was not a single snow flake and the weather was around 60 F, so not a Christmas feeling, but overall it was good.

Well I went up north out of the city to visit my crazy mother and sister.

It was pouring with rain when I got there but the weather steadily improved.
Was great yesterday and great scenery.

But man my old mother is a tough old nut.

I got just what I needed...a Roof Rake to remove all the freakin' snow off the house because it is now leaking nicely into the house ceiling.

I spent Christmas with my family. The food was delicious. Compliments from Moi! I didn't get many presents but the few I did get, I will cherish. This year wasn't as big as any of our past Christmas'. I am shooting to make next year's much better.

Christmas was awesome for me...

I got my lady a 1 CTW Diamond Journey Pendant...her smile was all I needed...

And she got me my 1TB Portable Hard Drive...I always wanted it so I can store my ebooks, etc. and take it with me wherever I go...

Went by my lady's family house to eat and drink...LOL...played games with the kids...now they got 10000000 presents...LOL

My lady and I donated 10 unwraqpped gifts to Toys For Tots.

It was awesome except for the fact it rained here in So. Cal and it was cold.

Hope yours and all the Warriors' Christmas was great as well...

Very nice for us over here.

Hope everyone else had a good Christmas too.

We got to stay in our "new house" for the first time in 4 years. We also enjoyed the family as we do every Christmas.

The only major "traumas" we had were a busted water pipe in our "new house" that soaked the Christmas tree and half the new living room floor, and my dad losing his electrical box unexpectedly on Christmas day. My hubby spent over 9 hours today building him a new breaker box, not to mention fixing our water pipe the day before.

But the only REAL downside was not having my husband's mother here this year.

She was a huge part of the holidays, and we greatly missed her over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Anth took her flowers on Thursday after he got off work, and we cried a few times over the last few days... simply in loss. It's our first holiday season without Sue - but we didn't do too bad overall. The rest of the family stuck together, even breakfast over at Aunt Jen's like we have done for years, without the parents this time.

Dave, which is Anth's dad - took off before Thanksgiving this year. He bought a place in Florida, left before Thanksgiving unexpectedly to us, and wouldn't come home for Christmas either. We all had to send our gifts down to him. It was rough, but we understood that this was the first year without his wife of over 30 years - so the rest of the family pulled together and it was really nice.

We made Christmas all about the kids, and family. Yep, gifts were OK, but the food, family and time spent together show the kids more than any number of gifts you can get. I only hope they internalize that as much as we would like them to. ;-)

Thanks!
Michelle
