Happened again? Maybe because I am doing them from the album?

Let me go and put em on some thing else.

      Can anyone else see them?

That could be. When I had a photo album on one of my sites I would have the same problem, except even I couldn't see them.

          Definitely Photoshop.

Polar bears don't as a rule eat vanilla ice cream with their paws.

edit: That's not Photoshop. That's shear stupidity.

The first one is real. I know people at the Road Star Clinic who have meet the guy and personally photographed that bike.
I don't know about the second one. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was real though.

I had a harder time believing the bike...that has to be some acquired control there...:p

The second IS a real guy, but has a lot to do with the angle that picture was taken IMO...

edit: I didn't even know we could embed metacafe here...cool...

everybody can probably see it except Thom...:p

I CAN SEE, I CAN SEE
I'd love to see that guy on the bike do the slow maneuvers I can do on mine:rolleyes:
I can do a u-turn, figure 8's and circles in an area no wider then a city street, under 5mph.
          Bet he can't.

I'll bet you can too Thom....

This is real, just saw it on the news...has to be, right?....

A woman in Pa sues for getting sugar...she's diabetic.

They very well could have made the mistake...

Personally I can't believe the response..should sue just for that...
A legal liaison for the Canton, Mass.-based chain, Leshia Evans, told the Philadelphia Daily News on Friday that she couldn't comment on the case but said customers receive only what they've ordered.

"If they request a medium coffee, they will get a medium coffee," Evans said. "If you fail to request a sugar substitute, we can't read your mind. We sell doughnuts, not crystal balls."

I liked this part of the story.
Jordan couldn't tell from the taste of the drink that she got sugar instead of her preferred artificial sweetener, Rodgers said.

"She didn't drink it all, but she drank more than half of it," Rodgers said.

Jordan would have been able to pick out the difference in a side-by-side comparison, he said.
I've never had an artificial sweetener that tasted like sugar:confused:

Besides in every DD I've ever been in they make the coffee in front of you.

Yea, I can definitely tell the difference. I had to question that too.

It was the response that blew me away...pretty knee jerk for a major corporation.

I'll bet she's (the spokeswoman) is getting the riot act for that quote.

You know how corporations sweat the 'public image'

I watched a documenary last night featuring Richard Feynman (see link below) where he was relating how bacteria can tell the difference between real sugar and artificial sweetners.

Bacteria, being a natural organism, as is real suger derived from real organisms, has a right hand twist (think spiral DNA) to the way it interacts with other natural organisms. Artificial sweetners have a left hand molecular twist to them.

Artificial sweetners, even though chemically the same as real sugar in some instances, cannot be digested by the bacteria, and if you mix real suger half and half with artificial sweetners and introduce the bacteria, they will eat all the natural sweetners and leave all of the artificial sweetners behind.

Apparently the same right hand versus left hand molecular twist applies to devices where polorized light is used to detect the Brix level of sugar in water. The polorizing effect on the light passed through artificial sweetners is different than real sugar.

The things you learn on the internet...
