I was just curious if anybody here used Weiner scandal or any other similar major news story to make additional income?

I want to know so I can do the same thing next time something big like that happens

I guess I am one of the unlucky ones. My own weiner just ended up costing me money.

Did anybody make money on it? Yes...

CNN, Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC, The New York Times, The Post, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Time, People, Google, Drudge Report, Yahoo!, MSNBC, and the list goes on.

Did anybody here make money on it? I have no idea.

There are ways to capitalize on news stories, and I have tried it in the past. Personally, it takes too much work, and the competition is stiff. It is about as far from an auto-pilot form of income as you can get.

I know a fellow Warrior had a good guide on some techniques though. Unfortuantely, I can't remember who it was, or the title of the guide. I think they may have referenced Britney Spears in it though.

They may have used Britney's latest scandal to sell CPA offers or ringtones, but I can't say for sure.

    All the best,
    Michael

I'm pretty sure there's a few lawyers that will be making a killing, too - and maybe a spouse raking it in on her way out the door.

Certain trends/stories can be capitalized, i.e. musician with related offers... but the Weiner scandal, not really sure how you could capitalize that as a marketer? Offer to adult site maybe lol

The "Anthony Weiner Doll" action figure has been out for awhile. Selling for $39.95 a pop, or $49.95 for the adult versions. It's available at finer stores near you or online.
