Where the hell is Brad armPitt lately?
Hi, everybody!
I've been so busy lately, I almost forgot to post back here, but after talking to waterrotter I thought I would check in and let everyone what has happened over the last week or so.
I knew I had a busy schedule for the next 2 weeks, so I thought I would back off the forum a bit and get to work, but Sunday night I got a call from a local album-oriented rock radio station that I've listened to for 40 years now. Seems I've won a contest, and can I come in Tuesday morning with a guest and party with the Dawn Patrol (local morning show) and the others? Well, hell yes, I can. Not a problem.
Then on Monday morning I get an email from a local alternative newspaper that I've won 2 tickets to see a movie screening Tuesday night.
So 2 things to do on Tuesday is very nice.
We get to the radio station on Tuesday morning 7:00 a.m., and we are greeted with free beer from Budweiser and tons of hamburgers from White Castle (a local restaurant called Crystals in the southern U.S.). For the next 3 hours we jam with a band called Rootbound on the radio's morning show. And they absolutely friggin' rocked!
So when everything is done, we all wind up getting 2 free tickets to Rootfest, which is an annual music festival that these guys headline at. A 12 hour concert with bonfire and camping at the end. Very nice, indeed.
But on top of that, I also won 2 tickets! New York Dolls, Poison and Motley Crue on the 26th, ya'll! Whooooooo!
Pics from the WEBN blog are here, although in most I was obviously drunk (hey, it was 7 in the morning, for Christ's sake!), and my head was hangin' low so my hat was covering my face in most of them. But I promise, I AM in there! That's me in the black leather hat and black and white checkered shirt.

That was quite enough for me, but I have also had a HUGE work week for some reason. Normally, I can put up 2 sites a week, but this week I have actually done 1 a day, so I am totally psyched!
On top of all that, I bought a WSO from WillR a few weeks back, and sold 2 mobile packages!
Hopefully, this lucky streak will continue. I hope everyone has had as good a week as I have.
