After a hard days work, what is your favourite alcoholic drink to sit back and relax with?

For me, it would be an ice cold glass of original Bulmers Cider.

I quit drinking years ago, but after reading their website I may start again.
Over here it's called MAGNERS Original Irish Cider and both the apple and pear sound real good.

I had no idea Steve Bulmer had a cider drink.

That's ok Jason, I get tempted alot I just really don't like the buzz you get from alcohol so I rarely give in to the temptation. Now if you roll up a fatty:rolleyes:

I'm a Microbrew guy, so love Dogfish Head, Left Hand, Rogue, Stone etc. Incredible beers... not that piss water Bud or Miller etc. But I love a good wine too. If liquor, a nice long island, or Dr Pepper and Cap'n.

Been to Stone Brewery Stone Brewing Co. and it was pry the nicest and coolest brewery around.

I stopped drinking shortly after microbreweries started making their appearance. I was very impressed with many of their beers that I tried.
I'm still a wine drinker when I can get the particular wines I like.
Unfortunately the ones I like are rarely available in the states or are priced out of range. Here's my two favorites.
This one I can find at an almost good price.
Trockenbeerenauslese - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The last time I bought this one was in 1981 and the bottle was $98 then.
Château d'Yquem - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As far as liquor, I danced with Jack and Ginger with a jack on the side.
That was when I decided to stop drinking

A good, affordable wine brand, Sunbox Eleven. We met the owners, very cool people. They do sorta limited numbers, but really really good especially for the money. I have a bottle of their Maverick 2008 saved, think it was 30 or 40 bucks, damn good. Sunbox Eleven Winery - Home

Hard to find their wines, but everyone that does is blown away for the price.

If you still drink wine, you should try some of the microbrews around now. People are shocked and don't know what their missing when I get them to try something like Dogfish Head 90min IPA, or a Left Hand Double IPA. tasty tasty lol

I'm trying to get a hold of some Dogfish Head 120min IPA, 21%abv lol... expensive and hard as hell to find http://thefullpint.com/beer-news/dog...-info-for-2011

I've never been a fan of beer... but then again, I never tried anything bug cheap beer at parties. I've always been a fan of wine and liquors. My husband doesn't really agree with drinking so it is a very special occasion when I get to pick up a nice bottle of wine. Normally I make blackberry wine with my mom every year.

Def have to try some good microbrews.... I've done that with friends who were like beer sucks... then the second they tried something like from Dogfish Head they were like holy hell this is good lol.

I hate cheap beers, plus I have an allergy to the cheap yeast etc they use, get stuffy and bad headaches.... that doesn't happen with my microbrews that are way way stronger and heavier on hops, night and day difference in quality. Coors is the only "cheap" brand I can tolerate ok. Budweiser is absolutely gross.

Hmmm where to start.. Just kiddin' .. Well a few beers to kick back with are good, helps me to wind down a bit. When I go out sometimes I like Jack Daniels too

Not a big fan of bulmers/magners though, I can have a bottle of cider but any more than that and it tastes a bit funny!

Gin and Tonic is my personal favorite. On the rare occasion when the only thing available is beer my choice is usually a Corona.
