I do, about 90% of the time, I'd reckon.

More times then I want to admit to.
In fact I often ask myself "How many times are you going to walk into the wall before you figure out the doorway is over there".

Not sure it's the stupid way, but "they" say that learning the hard way makes it easier for you to remember how to do things. I can vouch for that. Anything I've learned the hard way sticks in my mind for-ev-er!

Yeah - almost always the hard way - and especially with marketing it's the stupid way.

Since I was a 'rebellious' teenager, I have always thought it was so cool to be a 'non-conformist' and I still do. However now that is conforming.

With marketing you want to go with the 'trend' not against it - duh - unless you just like to spin your wheels for fun!

As well, I am an 'individualist', which I also thought was cool and still do - however there are definitely negative connotations on that one.

Why can't I EVER just simply 'go along with the program'? I always have to try one of my 'bright' ideas first - usually wrong - and then I either just give up on the whole thing or start over again and then give up anyway.

    Now that's STOOPID.

I agree with that in theory. But, it doesn't work out that way for me, in practice. While I do my best to apply lessons learned from observing others, and try to steer the sailboat around the deadheads, I smash into the rocky island ahead.

    Definitely the hard "stupid" way...

Funny thing is, the more I learn, the more my knowledge start to match up with what the experts already told me... so I guess it's more a belief-thing, than a knowledge thing...

    Doing is believing!
