First Post, A Big Hello To The Boards

Hi All

I just wanted to say hello to the boards. I've been lurking for a while and thought it about time I joined

I'm looking forward to making both friends and contacts, and to joining in with some chat.

Me? I've been running sites for more than 12 years, I'm also a songwriter and musician, occasionally known to paint, I've done most things website related and I live in Scotland.

    Hmmm, it's a huge topic but, you asked (soon you might regret that )

    Songwriting is my passion. I play a few instruments and I work on the melody first varying which instrument i use as backing to help keep my approach fresh. There's lots of info and tips out there on the web. Best resources for songwriters I have found are songstuff.com which covers all aspects of songwriting and has a lot of pro musicians and industry pros as community members, and musesmuse.com which also has a pretty good forum.

    Other than that, write lots, practice lots!
