OK, after reading this, you may wonder what the biggest mistake is. I'll tell you! The BIGGEST mistake wuld be a guy going through with 3 bags(violation) that say BOMB all over them(violation), and have explosives in them with metal triggering devices, and they are dressed as arabs, etc....

OK, time for the SECOND biggest! A person flying from a country of ill repute across the US with someone elses ID and a bogus boarding pass!

Airlines SOMETIMES audit themselves to try to fill planes. With such an audit, they found a person sitting in an unassigned seat and, found that HE WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE PLANE!!!!!!

They missed him, because he wasn't holding any of that dangerous breast milk.

An illegal alien from Guyana stole a man's identity to get a job as a flight attendant. Both the illegal alien and the guy he stole the identity from have criminal records.

How did no one catch this?

9/11 was an INSIDE job! They were finding box cutters in aircraft AFTER 9/11! After all, the OLD metal detectors, in place since like 1970 or so, would have caught the METAL box cutters! According to a news report over 30% of the people working at LAX were ex FELONS! And I saw at LEAST one illegal alien that was working there!

I traveled to trade shows constantly pre-9/11 and never had a problem bringing box cutters on the plane.

If security were actually the goal of TSA, it wouldn't have been over-looke Merlyn.

Interesting note - those electronic strip searchers are turning out to be just as deadly as some medical researchers warned. TSA agents are getting sick. Do I feel bad about that? No. Just deserts for people who are willing to submit their own to this type of degradation for a few bucks an hour. This type of crap will go on until people realize that if they are being allowed to abuse others, their employer isn't going to miraculously grow some morals over the employees.

A spokesman for TSA was being grilled today by a news guy - his explanation was "it's a big job and it takes time to fine tune everything".

The anchor surprised me by saying "You've had ten years - how many decades do you need to learn the job?" Loved it!

2 ridiculously bad incidents in one week - maybe someone will pay attention now? I won't hold my breath for that one.
