Day included just under 100 road miles, many short hikes up
trails from the trailheads and lots and lots of checking out trees, animals
    streams and rivers.

Most common find of the day was MOSQUITO'S---but that is always
    expected.

Realized something. It matters not where you are in the hills and the
woods=====you will always find spots that look exactly like hundreds
of like spots visited in mountain regions......
    and yet....
    and yet.....
    and yet.....
Each and every one is unique! That quiet stream wandering through
that woodland meadow is UNIQUE to itself. Therein lies the reason
for continually seeking out new spots.

No mineral finds today but many many rocks slammed with a hammer and
many many gravel pits dug through a bit.

Result? Had to carry the Chubhuahua the last couple hundred yards
back to the vehicle and almost had to whip the Border Collie to get her
out of that nice cool stream! Also for sure will take an increased dosage
    of morphine before bed time!
