What do you think of an online ALIAS

Me myself have an online alias.
Anyone else out there have one?
For me it's sort of an Alter Ego thing.
I can be who I want online as no one knows me.
Anyone else do this?

if yes or no, whats your reason?

    Depends where on the internet I am.
    As you probably figured out I'm an in your face type of person, a lot
    I'm also like that off the internet,
    Some forums I belong to I use an alias but most I don't.
    Same off line. 90%+ of the time I use my real name, less then 10% of the time I use a nickname.
    On forums like this one I think using a real name can be a benefit if you are looking for JV's or just building relationships.

    I like having several internet aliases. You never know who will be reading your stuff and sometimes it's nice to be somewhat mysterious.
