I was looking at the weather map on TV today - seems like 90% of the country is about 100 degrese (well, it looked like 90% - big red blob covering the map).

And I wondered....where are those folks who were so busy last winter saying "there's no global warming" j/k Probably hiding in the A/C, ya think?

The weatherman says it's a "dome of heat" - I think it may be aliens myself.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

It's been between 105 - 115 in Carlsbad, NM the last several weeks. It's usually around 100, but this year has been ridiculous....ugh...and no rain! For over 230 days I believe now.

    105+ in Central Texas.

We have broken the record for the most consecutive days with triple digit temperatures.

    Terrible drought too.

All the more reason for me to stay inside and work. : )

Nature has a way of providing what's needed where it's needed. So when we get tropical heat I eat more tropical fruits and veggies.
I also drink alot of ice cold spring water with Agave Nectar and of course apple cider vinegar

It has been nice and cool here on Canada's West Coast. Earthquakes will hit us sooner or later, but the weather so far has been nice and cool.

I hate the heat. I feel uncomfortable, you can't do anything outside...why people love the hot weather is beyond me.

Still, the trend looks set. Seems to get hit with higher and higher heat waves almost yearly now. Yuk. Wonder what it'll be like in 40 years time? 50C in USA?

We are finally cooling off here in North Texas!

Still no rain though. Wild fires have taken many lives and thousands of homes. There have been 3.5 million acres burned this year across the state.
