My granddaughter is on her way for real this time!

OFF TOPIC

As some of you may know, my daughter is overdue with my 3rd grandchild (her first and the first girl grandbaby). She was induced last week with no joy but today is the day.

She was induced and things are progressing nicely. An hour ago, she was at 4 cm and the doctor broke her water so no turning back now! Lilyana Marie will make her appearance at some point today.

Will update and post pics when she's born for anyone who wants to oooh and ahhh along with us

Tina - congratulations.

And..........

I wish people younger than myself would stop announcing they are grandparents - especially multiple times. Having chosen to not have kids myself, I find it easy to fool myself about aging. Then people like you come along and slap me in the face that I am closing in on being old enough to be a greatgrandma - Thanks Tina.

  I don't look old enough to be a grandmotber (or so I've been told) so does that count, Sal? LOL.
  
  Trust me, it can't possibly make you feel as old as it does me to watch my baby having a baby. It just doesn't seem possible.

  Lilyana Marie Davis finally made her appearance at 7:10 pm yesterday. She weighed 6 lb. 13 oz. and is 19 1/2" long. She already shows signs of a distinctive personality and a bit of temper, as befits a princess.
