You could always go to Flippa.com and click on the Just Sold tab and browse through the listings that "say" they make $1,000/mnth.

We have many customers that make $1000/month. We also have many more that do not. Typically, a site that produces well spent considerable time and effort getting there (95+% of the time). I've been at this more than 10 years. My strategy would be much different if I were starting right now.

may be you need to re-phrase the question. I guess you are referring to affiliate website. There are site really do well with affiliate sales - willionweb.com etc.

I have see many simple affiliate website that disappeared over night. They all claimed that they made big money.

It's not so much the amount it makes a month but the traffic it gets a month then by the products it's promoting, some sites make that with half the traffic other sites get
