How do you Handle Obvious Scams in the Forum?

I should have copied it to show as an example...I'll remember next time -
but yesterday I was the first post to a "offline forum" thread that looked so crooked I could not NOT say anything.-

I did not report it right away because I was curious to see what others would post about it -

So I wrote: I don't know if Chain Mail, Pyramid, and Ponzie schemes are still legal in your country - but they aren't in mine ...

I thought this would be a simple, nice easy way to tell them to bugger off -

I checked for the thread a little later and it was nowhere to be found.

Sounds like somebody else reported it - as, that sort of thing should be reported.

Incidentally - in case you don't know it, you report posts by clicking the little red triangle in the bottom left corner of the post sidebar.

    I remember that thread.
That was one of three or so I reported yesterday.
Next time you see something like that report it yourself.
If you are right the thread will disappear. If you are wrong it won't.

Thank you Thom, Sal, and Otter...- You are all right - I should have just reported it, but it so had "nigerian scam" written all over it -
I wonder how anyone falls for those scams today - I wanted to see what warriors would say...
But they must still??? - you only need 1 sucker -

I remember a teacher in San Jose putting a 2nd mortgage on his house to buy into one of those a few years back - and he was a teacher! Go figure!???

    G'day All!
